The part nobody explains clearly

It starts with proven GLP-1 medication

The brand-name product you were looking for and AvataCore's plan both use a GLP-1 medication prescribed by a licensed provider — though they are different products, prepared differently.

The science, simplified

How GLP-1 works in your body

GLP-1 is a hormone your body already makes after eating. These medications extend its effect — working in three places at once to make weight loss feel more natural.

01 · Your brain

Quiets appetite

Signals fullness to your brain, so cravings and food noise fade and you naturally want less.

02 · Your stomach

Slows digestion

Food stays in your stomach longer, so you feel satisfied for hours on smaller portions.

03 · Your metabolism

Steadies blood sugar

Supports a healthy insulin response, smoothing the spikes and crashes that drive hunger.

GLP-1 vs. GLP-1 + GIP

Why GLP-1 + GIP can go further

Semaglutide activates one hunger pathway. Tirzepatide — what we call GLP-1 + GIP — adds a second, giving your provider a more powerful option when you want maximum results.

Built around you, not a factory

A plan a mass-produced pen can't match

A brand-name pen ships one fixed strength to everyone. Because your medication is compounded on a provider's prescription, it can be tailored to how your body actually responds.

Your dose, dialed in

Your provider sets a starting dose and adjusts your titration based on your response and tolerance — not a one-size pen.

Care that adjusts with you

Unlimited clinical messaging and check-ins mean changes happen as your body changes — side effects, plateaus, and all.

No pharmacy scavenger hunt

While branded pens sit on shortage lists, your medication ships to your door — typically in 1–2 days, free.

Where it comes from

How your medication is made

"Compounded" isn't a loophole — it's a regulated, century-old pharmacy practice. Here's the path your medication takes before it reaches your door.

1

Licensed U.S. provider

A provider reviews your intake and medical history and, if you're eligible, writes a prescription for you specifically.

2

503A compounding pharmacy

A U.S. pharmacy regulated under 503A and state boards prepares your medication following USP 795/797 standards.

3

Shipped to your door

Your medication ships directly to you — typically in 1–2 days — with ongoing care and dose support included.

What is a compounded medication?

A compounded medication is one that's prepared by a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy for a specific patient based on a provider's prescription. Compounding pharmacies operate under state board of pharmacy oversight and follow USP 795/797 standards. They are different from FDA-approved manufactured drugs and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, efficacy, or quality.

What compounded GLP-1 is NOT

  • Not FDA-approved.
  • Not the same as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Zepbound®, or Mounjaro®.
  • Not a generic. Compounded preparations are made for individual patients; they are not copies of branded products.
  • Not appropriate for every patient. Eligibility is determined by a licensed provider after reviewing your medical history.
