Medical Disclaimer

⚠ Medical Emergency: If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on this website or any telehealth service for emergency medical care.
1. Information on This Website Is Not Medical Advice
The content provided on avatacore.com, including text, graphics, images, and other material, is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information on this website should not be used as a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional.
Nothing on this website is intended to create a physician-patient relationship, and no information should be interpreted as a recommendation or endorsement of any specific test, treatment, procedure, or course of action.
2. Not a Substitute for Your Primary Care Provider
AvataCore's telehealth coordination services are not a substitute for the physician-patient relationship you maintain with your primary care provider. Our services are designed to complement — not replace — your existing healthcare relationships.
You should always inform your primary care physician about any medications you are taking, including those prescribed through telehealth services. Your primary care provider has the most complete understanding of your medical history and overall health.
3. Consult Your Physician Before Starting Treatment
Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or treatment plan. This includes any weight management medications available through AvataCore.
Before starting any treatment, discuss with your provider:
- Your complete medical history, including all current conditions
- All medications, supplements, and over-the-counter drugs you are currently taking
- Any known allergies or adverse reactions to medications
- Whether you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
- Any personal or family history of thyroid cancer, pancreatitis, or other relevant conditions
4. Individual Results May Vary
Any results, testimonials, or outcomes described on this website are individual experiences and are not guaranteed. Weight loss and health outcomes depend on many factors, including but not limited to:
- Individual metabolism and genetics
- Adherence to prescribed treatment protocols
- Diet and nutrition habits
- Physical activity levels
- Pre-existing medical conditions
- Other medications being taken
Clinical trial data cited on this website reflects average results from controlled studies and may not reflect the results you will experience. There is no guarantee of specific outcomes.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
AvataCore and its affiliated healthcare providers make no warranties or guarantees regarding the effectiveness of any treatment, the accuracy of any health assessment, or the achievement of any particular health outcome. Medical treatment involves inherent risks and uncertainties.
A licensed healthcare provider may determine that a particular medication or treatment is not appropriate for you based on your medical history, current health status, or other clinical factors. Not all patients who complete an intake will receive a prescription.
6. Compounded Medication Disclaimer
Important Information About Compounded Medications
Compounded medications available through AvataCore are prepared by licensed 503A or 503B compounding pharmacies. These compounded formulations are not FDA-approved as finished products. However, they contain active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) that are the same as those found in FDA-approved medications.
Compounded medications are legally prepared pursuant to valid prescriptions from licensed healthcare providers in accordance with federal law (Section 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act) and applicable state pharmacy regulations.
Compounded medications have not undergone the same FDA review process as commercially manufactured brand-name drugs. They may differ from the FDA-approved versions in formulation, inactive ingredients, bioavailability, route of administration, or dosage form.
7. Telehealth Limitations
Telehealth services have inherent limitations compared to in-person medical visits. These include but are not limited to:
- Inability to perform a physical examination
- Reliance on patient-reported information and self-reported medical history
- Potential technology-related disruptions
- Limitations in diagnosing certain conditions remotely
Your telehealth provider may recommend that you seek an in-person evaluation if they determine that a remote consultation is insufficient for your needs.
8. Third-Party Content & Links
This website may contain references or links to third-party websites, studies, or resources. AvataCore does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites. Inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by AvataCore.
